When compound has cooled and is substantialityb. See figure 7-2 and reassemble control unitcomponents.c. Reconnect cover to printed circuit board withwiring harness.d. Place the container in a temperature controlledoven. Set oven temperature at 180 to 185°F and allowcontainer to soak 11 to 12 hours or until potting com-pound is completely melted.e. Prior to installing the printed circuit board, remove the container from the oven and make surethat insulation paper is positioned next to thecontainer shell.f. Using heavy gloves, and safety glasses slowlylower the printed circuit board into the potting com-pound,WARNINGUse care not to splash hot pottingcompound om operating personnel. Itcan cause severe injury.g. Position the printed circuit board and allowcompound to cool.solid, install top cover and hardware.7-8. Adjustment.See figure 7-13 for location of adjustment and controlsand adjust electric governor according to the followingproceduresa .S i n g l e S e t A d j u s t m e n t P r o c e d u r es(1) With engine not operating, set frequencyadjust control (on control panel), R11, R14, R16, andR18 to midpoint by turning full each way and approx-imating center.Set RI 5 full counterclockwise and R12approximately 1/4 clockwise.(2) Start engine. Refer to Operator and Or-ganizational Maintenance Manual for operating in-structions. If engine hunts, perform followingadjustments to stabilize operation(a) If hunt is of high frequency and smallamplitude; adjust R12 clockwise and/or R16 counter-clockwise.(b) If hunt is of low frequency and longamplitude; adjust Rl8 countercloclwise. If operationdoes not stabilize, turn R16 clockwise. It maybenecessary to adjust R12 counterclockwise in conjunctionwith R18 and R16 adjustments to stabilize operation.Change 57 -7
