Assure that grounding point on the tank is an unpaintedsurface.Drain the fuel tank completely before removing.During the removal / installation when draining the tank, make surethere are no open flames or sparks in the vicinity, and keep fuelfrom splashing onto hot surfaces.Wear rubber gloves while draining fuel tank.Disconnect the negative battery cable first and then the positive bat-tery terminal cables.
