If the external fuel source is a 55-galloncontainer, thread the extension pipe (8) onto the fuel pickup tube (7).Remove the auxiliary fuel hose (4) from its storage location. It is stored in a compartmentbelow the generator set control panel, behind the bottom-right access door.Thread one end of the auxiliary fuel hose (4) onto the fitting on the container adapter (3).Tighten the connection.Connect the free end of the auxiliary fuel hose (4) to the generator set external fuel supplyconnection (1). The connection is located beside the generator set fuel tank filler neck. Tightenthe connection.Insert the container adapter (3) into the external fuel source (2).
