Lead cable disconnected from switchbox load terminals.REMOVAL1.2.3.4.Release clamping catches (12, figure 4-17 sheet 1) and open switch box cover (2).Remove and retain hex nut (3), internal tooth lock washer (4), and leads (5) from defectiveterminal (8).Remove and retain hex nut (6) that secures the terminal (8) to the mounting plate (7).Remove terminal (8).REPAIR1.2.3.4.5.4-34NOTERepair consists of replacing a missing or damaged terminal clip. Removal of terminalis not required. Any other damage to the terminal requires replacement. Theterminal clip is fabricated using bulk wire National Stock Number(NSN) 9505-00-235-5071.Release clamping catch (11) and open switch box load terminal cover (1).Cut two pieces of bulk wire 5 3/4 inches and 1 1/4 inches long.Make sure nut (9) is installed on terminal body (8).Fabricate terminal clip (10) in accordance with figure 4-17 (sheet 2).Install terminal clip (10) on terminal (8), close switch box terminal cover (1) and secure withclamping catch (11).
