General Safety Instructions
Due to the bulk and weight of the tail
gate, a minimum of two persons are
required to move it. Failure to do so
could result in serious injury.
When removing mounting hardware brace
or hold the step so it will not drop.
REMOVAL
REMOVE PLATFORM TAIL GATE.
Remove two screws (1), four
flat washers (2) and two self-
locking nuts (3) and remove
tailgate platform (4).
INSTALLATION
INSTALL PLATFORM TAIL GATE.
a. Position tailgate platform (4)
into place where the mounting
holes line up.
b.
Install two screws (1), four
flat washers (2) and two self-
locking nuts (3).
NOTE
FOLLOW ON MAINTENANCE: Connect
Negative Battery Cable (Para.
4-10).
