Bottom of sleeve (8) 20-degreechamfer to (2) block deck 7.314 to7.326 inch (185.78 to 186.08 mm).2. Top of sleeve 20degree chamfer to(3) block deck is 7.265 to 7.285 inch(184.53 to 185.04 mm).3. Bottom of sleeve (7) 0.040 to 0.060inch (1.02 to 1.52 mm) radius toblock (4) deck 7.187 inch (182.55mm) maximum.4. Top of sleeve (7) radius is 0.040 to0.060 inch (1.02 to 1.52 mm) (6)diameter 6.250 to 6.260 inch(158.75 to 159.00 mm).5. Sleeve (9) bore diameter is 6.124 to6.126 inch (155.55 to 155.60 mm)to a (10) depth of 8.850 to 8.875inch (224.79 to 225.42 mm).(p) Remove boring bar from bore. Use fineemery cloth to break sharp corners inentrance of bore so rubber packing ringswill not be damaged when liners areinstalled.(q) Clean bore thoroughly to remove allemery dust and boring chips. Blow drywith compressed air and coat machinedsurfaces with engine lubricating oil.(r) After boring and sleeve installation checkalignment as described in paragraph d(2).(5) Cylinder Liner Counterbore. Resurface cylinderliner counterbore if block has been resurfaced, ledge is uneven or where liner protrusion isincorrect.(6) Oil Control Valve. If oil control valve housinghas been removed from bore, located betweenoil drillings in front center of block, installhousing as follows:(a) Scribe a centerline on the bossperpendicular to the bored hole, usingthe capscrew holes as locators.(b) Align the scribe-line on the oil controlvalve housing; align the two oil passageholes with those in cylinder block. Presshousing into the bore until it is flush to 0.020 inch (0. 51 mm) below the cylinderblock face.(c) Insert oil control bypass disc and springinto valve control housing.(d) Position expansion plug over spring andinto bore.(e) Drive expansion plug into housing borewith plug driver until flush with housingsurface.e. Reassembly. To reassemble the cylinder block andcomponents, refer to figures 13-50 and 13-51 andproceed as follows:(1) Refer to paragraph 13-33 for13-103
