TM 9-6115-659-13&Pb.c.d.e.f.g.h.i.j.k.Loosely install ten cap screws (17), flat washers (15), and self-locking nuts (16) in front liftingbracket (2).Loosely install three cap screws (12), flat washers (14), and self-locking nuts (13) to attach frontlifting bracket (2) to top of curbside front corner of trailer chassis (7).Install mounting rails (paragraph 5-18).NOTELoosely installed screws (12 and 17) will aid in alignment of holesin handbrake bracket.Position brake relocating brackets (4), with attached handbrake lever (1), and loosely install four capscrews (3), flat washers (5), and self-locking nuts (6).Tighten all self-locking nuts installed in steps b. through e.Install front generator set (paragraph 5-6).If front lifting bracket is a replacement, install lifting rings (paragraph 4-21).Position power cable clamp (21) and install screw (18), flat washer (19), and nut (20).Set trailer handbrakes and remove wheel chocks.Remove jack stands.2. INSTALL REAR LIFTING BRACKET.a. Position rear lifting bracket (22) on trailer chassis (7).b. Loosely install ten cap screws (17), flat washers (15), and self-locking nuts (16) in rar liftingbracket (22).NOTETwo sets of attaching hardware used on roadside and curbside top of bracketare installed when splash guard is installed.c. Loosely install cap screw (10), flat washer (14), and self-locking nut (13) to attach rear liftingbracket (22) to top of trailer chassis (7).NOTELoosely installed screws (12 and 17) will aid in alignment of holes inhandbrake bracket.d. Install tail light bracket (11), two screws (10), flat washers (9), and self-locking nuts (8).e. Tighten all self-locking nuts installed in steps b. and c.f.
