Blower wheel and hub are a balancedwasher (3), attaching blower wheel to crankshaft. Usetwo 5/16-24 screws in blower hub and a suitablepuller to remove blower wheel (4) and key (5).NOTEObserve the arrangement of the conicalwashers in the torsion dampers before disas-sembly. These washers must be reassembledtn the same way or the function of the damperswill be impaired.unit and should not be disassembled. To replace tor-sion damper assemblies (6), remove screws (8), nuts(7) and replace torsional dampers. Torque screws28-30 ft-lb.d. Install.(1) Mount blower wheel assembly to crankshaftusing screw (l), lockwasher (2) and washer (3). Torquescrew (1) to 65-70 ft-lb.(2) Refer to Operator and OrganizationalMaintenance Manual and install blower housing.7-7
