Gauge should justslide into gap (3. fig 5-60) between rocker arm lug (4) and valve (5):Intake valve (I) 0.2 mmExhaust valve (E) 0.3mm6.If gap is too small or too large, loosen locknut (1, fig 5-60) one or two turns and turn adjusting screw and turnadjusting screw (2) with a screwdriver (1, fig 5-59); once locknut is tightened gauge should slip out with littleresistance.INSTALLATION1.Replace O-ring (3, fig 5-56) and gasket (S5) with new ones.2.Install valve cover (4), packing perform (2), and screw cap (1).3.Tighten to 12 Nm.Figure 5-565-240 Change 2
