Defective circuit breaker switch S3.
Inspect test S3. Replace if defective (para 4-63).
Defective main load contactor (4-40).
Disconnect electrical connector (per J41, FO-1, sheet 4) from main load contactor (CB2). Start
generator set, while holding circuit breaker switch (S3) in closed position. Using a voltmeter, test
for 28 vdc at J41, receptalce A(+) and Receptalce B(-). If 28 vdc is present, inspect and test CB2
(para 4-62). Replace if defective. If 28 vdc is not present, notify higher level maintenance.
