REMOVAL
REMOVE ENGINE V-BELT.
Loosen battery charging alter-
nator retaining screw (1) and
push alternator close to
engine.
Remove V-belt (2)
from alternator (3), fan (4)
and engine (5) pulleys.
INSTALLATION
INSTALL ENGINE V-BELT.
Install V-belt (2) onto engine
(5), fan (4) and alternator
(3) pulleys. Pull engine
alternator away from engine to
put tension on V-belt (2).
Tighten alternator retaining
screw (1).

FOLLOW ON MAINTENANCE: Connect
Negative Battery Cable (Para.
4-10).
