4-32. REPLACE FILTER ELEMENT (cont)
SERVICE
SERVICE THE FILTER ELEMENT.
a. Soak and agitate filter element
for 15 minutes in a solution of
warm water and mild detergent.
b. Rinse filter element until clean
and air dry.
c.
The filter element may also be
cleaned with low pressure
(30 psig max) compressed air.
INSTALLATION
INSTALL FILTER ELEMENT.
Place the filter (5) into
position on the air filter
housing (6), and install
retaining bar (4) with two
screws (1), lockwashers (2)
and nuts (3).
