W-WEEKLY (40 HRS)   M-MONTHLY (100 HRS) S-SEMIANNUALLY (500 HRS) W M S 1 o Controls and Inspect for damage and loose instruments mounting 2 Air Cleaner Replace or clean the primary Restricted element when service indica- tor indicates a red restric- tion indication Do not clean safety element. Replace safety element after third primary element change or cleaning. 0 - Inspect and empty dust cup. When reinstalling, make sure dust cup seals entirely around the air cleaner body. Ref. par.  4-42. 0 -Inspect and clean cyclone tubes with a stiff fiber brush 3 o Support Frame Inspect for breaks, cracks, loose mounting, loose or missing hardware, corrosion and rust. 4 o Radiator Assembly Inspect radiator fan motor. Check for excessive noise or evidence of overheating. Ref.  par. 4-49. 5 o Engine Preheat Inspect thermo switch heaters and pump for poor electrical connections and loose mount- ing.  Ref. par.  4-51. 6 o Fuel Transfer Pump Inspect motor brushes for wear. Replace if less than 1/4 inch (6 mm) long. Ref.  par.  4-52. O Change oil filter and strainers. 7 o Generator and Inspect reconnection board Reconnection and buss bars for looseness Assembly or corrosion. Ref. par. 4-59. 0 Inspect generator for noisy or overheated bearings and any other signs of damage 8 o Hydraulic Sump Check fluid level.  Add flu- No fluid is present Governor id required.  Ref. par. 4-64.
