Remove the center section afterremoving either end section.(2)Straighten the tabs on the Iockplates (2, Figure 9-82), and remove the capscrews (1), lockplates (2), andwashers(3)Discard the lockplates.(3)Remove the manifold sections, (4, 5, and 6), and remove and discard the gaskets (7).(4)Disassemble the manifold by twisting and pulling the sections (4,5, and 6).If difficulty is encountered inremoving the sections, tap lightly around the slip-joints using a plastic or rawhide mallet.Figure 9-80.
