The electric hydraulic actuator(figure 4-37) is part of a governing system to controlgenerator set speed, independently, in parallel, or withcommercial power. It is mechanically coupled to theengine and electrically controlled by a load sharingcircuit assembly.a.Inspection. Check all parts for wear, cracks,nicks, and corrosion. Check the electricalconnector for cracks or damage and wiringconnections for breaks.b.Service. The electric hydraulic actuator hasa reservoir (sump) containing engine oil.Refer to Lubrication Order, LO5-6115-593-12 and table 3-1 for proper oil. The sump isequipped with a dipstick. Check level andadd oil, if necessary. Drain by removingdrain plug.4-96
