TM 5-6115-593-12TO 35C2-3-463-1b. Replacement. Replace defective circuitbreaker CB103 (42, figure 4-18) as follows:(1) Removal.a. At rear of panel, tag wire leadsand remove screws andwashers which secure leads tothe circuit breaker.b. Remove circuit breakermounting hardware (40 and 41)and remove circuit breaker.(2) Installation. Install circuit breakeronto panel with mounting hardware(40 and 41). Attach wires with screwsand washers. Remove tags fromwires.4-30. PANEL MOUNTED RECEPTACLES J103 ANDJ104 THROUGH J109 (54, 7 and 15, figure 4-18).NOTEDefective receptacles may be replacedindividually, as necessary.a. Removal.(1) At rear of panel, tag and removewires from receptacle J103 (54). Tagand unsolder wires from receptaclesJ104 through J109 (7 and 15).(2) Remove receptacle J103 (54) byremoving screws (48), nuts (49),cover (50), gasket (51), screws (52),and nuts (53).(3) To remove receptacles J104 throughJ109 (7 and 15), unscrew dust cover(3 or 12) and remove mountinghardware (13 and 14).b. Installation. Install receptacle J103 (54)with screws (52), and nuts (53). Thenposition gasket (51) and cover (50) andsecure with screws (48) and nuts (49).Resolder wires and remove wire tags.Install receptacles J104 through J109 (7 and15) with mounting hardware (13 and 14).Reconnect wires and then remove wire tags.4-31. SHORTING PLUG (4, figure 4-18)a.Test. With an ohmmeter (Rx1 scale) checkfor continuity between pins A and B. Ifmeter indicates an open circuit, replaceshort plug.b. Replacement. To remove shorting plug (4)remove screw (1) which attaches the chain,then unscrew the shorting plug from thereceptacle.4-32. PANEL MOUNTED SWITCHES S22, S21, S106and S20 (20, 26, 31, and 36, figure 4-18).a. Test.(1)Check switches for continuity in onedirection and an open circuit whenoperated in the other direction.(2) At rear of panel, remove one leadfrom switch.(3) With an ohmmeter (Rx1 scale), testswitch as indicated in step (1). Ifswitch fails to meet this test, replaceswitch.b.
