This manual contains instructions forimmediate (field) (direct support, general support) anddepot maintenance personnel maintaining the enginesets, 50/60 Hertz (Mode 1) Tactical Utility (Class 2) andTactical Precise (Class 1) and Engine Generator Sets, 400Hertz (Mode 11) Tactical Precise (Class I) as authorizedby the maintenance allocation chart. It provides informa-tion on the maintenance of the equipment which isbeyond the scope of the tools, equipment, personnel, orsupplies normally available to the operator and organiza-tional levels.b. Demolition of material to prevent enemy usewill be in accordance with the requirement of TM750-244-3. (Procedures for Destruction of Equipment toPrevent Enemy Use for U.S. Army). Preparation forshipment and storage for U.S. Air Force will be in accor-dance with T.O. 35-1-4. Shipment and storage for U.S.Army will be in accordance with TB-740-97-2.1-2.
